Steelman Pinc & Steel Teams Paddlefit Challenge

Get a leave pass from mowing the lawns or going to the gym on Sunday 25 May 2014 and head down to Takapuna Beach with your mates for the Steelman Teams Paddlefit Challenge, a fun stand up paddle race with a series of obstacle challenges on the beach to test your balance, strength, flexibility and fitness.

Help someone up. When you’re diagnosed with cancer you get thrown off-balance, and the cancer treatments can really knock you down. The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Trust has 50 cancer patients on our waiting list, and we need your help to raise $25,000 to fund their physical rehabilitation. To enter the Steelman Challenge please go to www.steelmanchallenge.org Online entry is $100 per person and is open to individuals, pairs, teams of up to 4, parents and offspring, guys, girls, mixed teams, students ($40) and seniors ($40). All proceeds go to the Pinc and Steel Cancer Rehabilitation Trust's programs.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
