New Zealand’s premier charity rally, The Trillian Trek, is on the road again raising money for Kiwi kids!
Nationwide
The Trillian Trek originally started as the Variety Bash, a well known mad cap car rally event that travelled across multiple regions of New Zealand on a week-long fund-raising drive for kiwi kids in need.
The event has been running annually for almost 30 years and apart from a name change, the excitement, passion and reason for the event is the same as it was on day one! To raise as much money as possible for kiwi kids in need. We’ve raised over $10 million dollars over the past 26 years with the help of generous New Zealanders like yourself.
Our unique rally wouldn’t be possible without the helping hand we receive from Trillian Trust, and in turn we support the NZ Blue Light charity. Together we’re a formidable team who work hard to make a difference in communities, schools and to individuals who need that extra helping hand.
March 3rd 2018 kicks off the first of 3 Trek Rally’s for 2018 where approximately 135 people in 34 crazy themed cars, buses, trucks and fire engines will travel over 1800 kilometres from Thames to New Plymouth, handing out grants, giveaways, sports gear, special needs equipment, laughs, smiles and much more to communities, schools and individuals. Each year the route changes and the funds are distributed nationwide, not just to the communities we’re lucky enough to visit over the week.
In the lead up to our first event, the Trek teams will be fundraising the much-needed funds for the kids they’re about to visit!
