Walking a few kms for fun so kids in 2 Northern Thailand villages don't have to walk so far to school. Donations will pay teacher wages.

Offering hope for Hilltribe kids by replacing their long hard walk to school with a brand new school just next door. So ... registered walkers will lap a 1km track for one hour at Narrows Park (11am-12pm), Hamilton, as part of our "Church at the Narrows" summer country fair on the 8th March between 10am and 4pm. Each completed lap gets a good dash of colour and then a massive explosion of colour when the walkers finish around midday. Walkers are looking for sponsors whose donations will help pay the wages of teachers at two Hill Tribe Village Preschools in Northern Thailand.
Cafe Agora and City Bible Church are partnering with Bright Hope World to bring hope to the villages of Krey mo Kee and Kraw lor Bur in Northern Thailand through clean water, sanitation and education. Two preschools were completed in 2014. This is our way of following Jesus' call to "love your neighbour".
