Help me fund my surgery privately

    Hey everyone! So can’t remember if I said this in a previous update BUT i’ve applied through Mercy Hospital (private) to get my surgery funded by them (it’s an outreach programme they have) and have said I would be willing to give $1000. I am still waiting to hear from them about this - if I get it then this page will be deleted and you’ll all get your money back as the $5000 has to be reached for me to get the money. If they say no then obviously i’m still needing $5000. So again i’m asking if you can donate that would be an amazing help as just to reiterate - if I don’t reach $5000 OR my surgery is funded by hospital then you get all your money back. Thanks again to those who have given. This is something that is affecting my everyday life and I just want some answers. Thanks xx

  • Public system update (not happy)

    First of all, I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated so far, I am extremely grateful to you all!! As I mentioned in my original bio in regards to this I was supposed to have an appointment on the phone with a specialist to discuss everything further and didn't hear anything. Obviously I rung them and asked what was happening and was told the doctor would be told I called but heard nothing. Mum rung this morning and they decided to tell us that they will not be doing consults in level 3 AT ALL and probably not in level 2 either (no idea why they would tell me I could have a phone consult). This obviously means I am less likely to get my surgery done publicly this year. This means that your money makes all the more difference as I am really needing this done this year as obviously the faster the better. So again thanks heaps to those who are supporting me! I will most likely be needing over $5000 but its a start and I am super thankful xxx
