Dancing in WOW

My WOW experience has been awesome, not what I was expecting at all. I thought I would have to come down and just be in the back ground performing real minimal movement but what we are doing is the exact opposite.
We perform a variety of different things in the show which causes us as performers to shift our performance states all the time. Starts with real intensity in the "South Pacific" section; then you got some abstract slickness in "Open"; going into some simple gestures that develop into some real hardcore movement which I really enjoy in "Avant"; a bit of Bizarre humour with Bras in the "Bizzare Bra" section.
The scale of difficulty in choreography differs dependent on what the section is and how the choreography can complement the garments.
The biggest highlight of being involved in WOW is meeting all the other people, Dancers, Models and Stage crew. Everybody is so friendly, encouraging and supportive through this three week performance season that we are in now. WOW is such an awesome experience and I would love to do it again if I m successful with my campaign to dance with The New Zealand Dance Company.
