BNI Otago Ice Bath Challenge 2026

$1,140 of $7,999 goal
26 Jul 2026

This is BNI Octagon's fourth annual Ice Bath Challenge fundraiser, taking the plunge for Otago Community Hospice.

Otago

BNI New Zealand supports Hospices in our regions all over the country. Here in Otago each of the 10 BNI chapters choose different ways to raise money for the amazing team at Otago Community Hospice.

A team of hearty souls from Octagon Chapter has taken up the Ice Bath Challenge since 2023, and for our fourth year we have invited each of the other chapters to voluntell some brave BNI members to take the plunge for a good cause.

To make it fun there are three levels of BRRR

• Tap water cold

• A moderate ice bath

• The full challenge bath with lots of ice

Participants will choose their limit or maybe do all three on the day!

Click the link to accept the challenge or pick your favourite participant or team to get behind and make a donation! Don't forget to add some encouraging words :-)

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
