The Auckland Refugee Council Inc. supports Asylum Seekers. They provide accommodation for those newly arrived refugee applicants who have no means of support, including food, shelter and other necessities such as health and legal advocacy support. The Kindness Institute was established in direct response to Aotearoa's youth mental health crisis and empowers marginalised rangatahi to transform their mental health and wellbeing, and that of those around them. Their programmes are rangatahi-led, grounded in kaupapa Maori, and designed to develop resilience and leadership. Aviva Charitable Trust
Supports children, young people and adults to live free from domestic and sexual violence in the Canterbury region. Due to Covid-19, Aviva faces up to 30% loss in donations while the number of reported incidents of family violence has increased by 22% since the lockdown started, with a 36% increase in incidents involving children.$11,150.00 raised
