To provide mental health support for our rangatahi during a time of isolation and uncertainty.
Nationwide
The Kindness Institute is supported by the Perpetual Guardian (and their supporters) who will double every dollar donated up to $10,000
The Kindness Institute was established in direct response to Aotearoa’s youth mental health crisis and empowers marginalised rangatahi to transform their mental health and wellbeing, and that of those around them. Their programmes are rangatahi-led, grounded in kaupapa Māori, and designed to develop resilience and leadership.
The direct response to the Covid-19 pandemic is delivering immediate, effective and essential solutions for mental health support, as rangatahi are isolated and without their usual support network of peers and teachers, sometimes in difficult home environments, putting them at risk of ongoing mental health issues.\
