Wear a blindfold for a day to get glimpse of what it's like to lose your sight & raise funds for the St John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem.
Auckland
On July 23rd 2016 we are challenging members of our St John Youth program to wear a blindfold for a day to get glimpse of what it's like to suddenly lose your sight.
You nominate a support person to accompany you throughout the day while you take on various challenges of your choosing. The more daring the challenges, the more sponsorship you are likely to get.
Friends and family sponsor you for undertaking the challenge, and thanks to our partnership with the Auckland St John Hospitaller Club all funds go directly toward crucial equipment needed by the St John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem.

As leaders in the Regional Youth team, we believe strongly in the work of the Eye Hospital. Their mission - to treat anyone regardless of race or religion - is both inspiring and necessary.
The Hospital need funds for crucial equipment to perform operations that save people's eyesight. By fundraising for this equipment, we also hope to connect this modern generation of Youth cadets to the history of the organisation and our roots in Jerusalem.
