Stable to Stirrup are working on a rescue and rehabilitation of 21 Standardbred horses in a desperate situation that has occurred through the family loss and tragedy.

The first four have come into our care, they have completed lice, worm treatments and mineral boosts. Our next step is to send them out to fostering to gain some much needed weight.

We have been very lucky with volunteers, donors, and supporters who gave generously their time and money so far. We are now looking wider for help with extra feed to help with foster homes who have offered to care for these fur babies.

With the recent flooding in Canterbury we lost our supply of large rounds , this has left us short and in need.

All funds raised in this campaign will be used towards buying 55 large bales of hay.
