Run, Walk or Cycle 50 Kilometres a Day this Chopper Appeal Month!
Nelson / Tasman
For this year's Chopper Challenge, we are encouraging businesses, friends, and individuals to complete 50 kilometres a day throughout the month of May for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter. Entrants can choose to either run, walk or cycle and can complete the challenge in teams or as individuals. By the completion of this challenge, each corporate team, social team or individual entrant should have completed 1550 kilometres. Interestingly, New Zealand is 1600 kilometres long!
Fundraising is an important part of 2019's Chopper Challenge as it will help us save lives in the community. Each team that enters will be competing to win the ‘Chopper Cup’ and a series of prizes including a defibrillator for their workplace.
Through Givealittle, teams can compare what other teams have raised ... friendly competition for a great cause!
50k a day for the month of May is an amazing way to show support of your local rescue helicopter this Chopper Appeal. Not only will you benefit your community, but your overall wellbeing will thank you too! So what are you waiting for? Get your colleagues or friends together and 50k your way through the month of May.
