I have worked in the forest industry for the last 30 years and have had the helicopter come assist us 4 times in those years.

We are a family of 3 with a great love of the outdoors, mountain biking, tramping, hunting, boating etc. all of which may require the helicopter in an emergency. Previously we have donated to the rescue chopper appeal through our business but now we would like to do something on a more personal level.

I have worked in the forest industry for the last 30 years and have had the helicopter come assist us 4 times in those years, I will never forget the sound of the chopper arriving and the relief that assistance was here.

We sold our forest harvesting business contracted to Nelson Forests Ltd at the end of 2018 to spend time together as a family and now have time to complete such a challenge.
