Kaibosh is an affiliated charity for the event. New Zealand's first food rescue organisation, Kaibosh rescues quality surplus food and redistributes it to charities supporting people in need. Each month Kaibosh rescues up to 30,000kg of food, which provides the equivalent of 85,000 meals to those who are struggling in Wellington and the Hutt.
