Running Half Marathon (21KM) for the Kaibosh Food Rescue organisation

Wellington

I will be participating in a marathon, not only for my personal benefit, but to raise funds for a charity I think has a much needed cause.

Kaibosh Food Rescue is based in the Wellington region and is New Zealand’s first food rescue organisation. The charity links the food industry and charities supporting people in need, making sure quality surplus food reaches those who are struggling, rather than being needlessly discarded.

Each month Kaibosh rescues up to 30,000kg of food, which provides the equivalent of 85,000 meals to local people in need.
