Step up to make a difference to kiwis living with ovarian cancer during February Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

Every day in New Zealand, one woman receives the life-changing news they have ovarian cancer. For many of these women, the journey to receiving their diagnosis is a long one, and sadly, it often comes too late for treatment to be effective. With survival rates of just 36%, ovarian cancer is the leading cause of gynaecological cancer deaths in New Zealand, yet treatment options are minimal and research is severely under-funded.

As the only dedicated ovarian cancer charity in New Zealand, the funds raised through our Step Up for Ovarian Cancer Challenge will help Cure Our Ovarian Cancer:

- educate women on the symptoms of ovarian cancer to support early diagnosis

- support women through every step of their ovarian cancer journey

- ensure that better treatment options are available

- fund life-saving research with the aim of ultimately finding a cure
