Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of gynaecological cancer death. For the past five and a half years, I've swallowed pills and had monthly injections into my stomach to keep my cancer at bay.
Two thirds of the women diagnosed at the same time as me, are no longer here. The toll is too high. This February I'll be walking 150,000 steps to help women with ovarian cancer, women like me, have their best chance at life.
Your donations will help Cure Our Ovarian Cancer educate women so they don't go misdiagnosed for years like me, provide information and support so women don't have to walk their journey alone, advocate for government changes to improve diagnosis and treatment and fund research to find a cure.
Cure Our Ovarian Cancer is the only dedicated ovarian cancer charity in Aotearoa. Your support can make a real difference to women's lives.
