Participating in Step Up for Ovarian Cancer 2023

Christchurch, Canterbury

At the end of 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer. It has turned future planning upside down.

Before I was diagnosed, I knew NOTHING about Ovarian Cancer. I'm hoping to raise awareness and hopefully some funds for research into treatments for Ovarian Cancer.

Because research means more time.

This February I'm walking the Hump Ridge track 12-14, a 3 day, 62km hike in Southland, going from sea level to 850m elevation and back down again. To keep the momentum going I'm also going to complete two 5km park runs on Saturday 18th and 25th February.
