Rata Shootathon World Record for Southland Charity Hospital
Southland
On September 30, members of the netball community in Invercargill will be shooting for a world record to raise funds for the Southland Charity Hospital.
The Rata Shootathon will be a showcase of talent across 24 hours, with teams each pushing to beat the world record of 14,500 goals, all the while raising money with every goal that successfully goes through the hoop. It’s no small feat and will take a huge amount of determination, accuracy, and mental toughness!
We are fundraising this money for the Southland Charity Hospital which is due to open in December 2022 and will be an incredibly vital asset to the Otago / Southland community helping those who have been declined access to health services in the public health system.
We have set up this Give a Little page for people to donate fixed amounts. You can find participating teams below – each will share their message about why they are so committed to taking part in this fundraiser. Show your support and donate whatever you can to help us achieve our goal!
