Kate had a CT this morning, the hole is still there, surgeons are in surgery at the moment so they will come up when they're finished and discuss what will happen next.
They said the stent should have fixed it but hasn't.
Was rushed in for a dye contrast CT scan at 1am this morning.
Got back to the ward and was just vomiting with hot and cold sweats again.
Docs/surgeons came around at 8am saying she needs to be operated on asap as the CT found a hole in my ureta which is leaking into her body and causing the mass infection.
The hole was caused by the ititial stone which was embedded and basically started eating its way through the tubal lining..
So shes had the surgery, back in the ward, sleeping on and off, still feeling very out of it.
She's high risk for getting sepsis so shes being monitored very closely by a few specialist teams.
They said she will get worse before she gets better regardless.
And she has lost count with how many IV lures she has had in now.... she thinks its currently on 7th and 8th ones (one in each hand at the moment)
Doctors just came around and said kate has a hole in her ureta from the embedded stone and it's leaking into her body..
Surgery again soon, another stent put in but it's to stay in 4-6 weeks this time with no strings and then start 3 monthly monitoring
After a few further tests and an ultrasound today, Kate has been rushed back to tauranga.
The kidney is still very inflamed, the infection is getting worse and bloods are through the roof.
Her body is also now rejecting the IV lures with collapsing veins and the meds are leaking into the tissue of her arms causing extreme swelling and pain.
Unsure what is happening next but they say she will be in here for a while.

Kate is been moved to Tauranga hospital tonight as her bloods are still going crazy and now her kidney is swelling more and more
