After moving to Australia several months ago to support her daughters sporting aspirations, Davina was admitted to hospital 5 days ago in unbearable pain.

After an MRI she has been told that there is a tumour on her psoas muscle, which will need further surgical investigation later this week.

Davina, and her whanau have always been there to selflessly awhi our people, in multiple areas, and now she really needs our help.

She is obviously unable to work, and still has to maintain her rental home, and financial obligations in Oz.

Davina is still caring for her two teenage children in Brisbane, while her husband is taking care of her other kids, while they all navigate this stressful and worrying time.

Any KOHA will be so appreciated, and is going directly into Davinas bank account.

DIAGNOSIS UPDATE 27 April 2024

Kia ora family and friends ✨

Davina, and whanau have had the heart wrenching news that's she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Liposarcomar cancer 😔.

She starts chemotherapy in 2 weeks 😢 and this will affect her ability to work and care for her 2 kids who are in Brisbane with her.

D really needs our awhi to help her focus on fighting this cancer. Rent, Kai and all the other costs to live in Oz with her kids Prayer and Perez, still remain.

Your koha will help keep Davina in Brisbane so she can continue to receive the best treatment at Prince Alexander Hospital, to fight this aggressive cancer.
