Emergency Transport For ALS Patient

I am fundraising money for my best friend's father. Jana's father was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) more than 6 years ago and has been hospitalised in Saudi Arabia since his diagnosis. He is now being forced to vacate the hospital to make space for another patient. He requires a machine to breath and specialist care to deal with this very rare disease. There is no other hospital in Saudi Arabia equipped to provide the care he requires. The Salem family are Syrian nationals from Aleppo so cannot return home due to the war in Syria. He needs to be moved to a hospital in Cyprus, where his daughter is finally pursing her dream of becoming a doctor, after putting her life on hold for three years to care for her father. Jana's mother works to support both her two children, herself and to be her husbands personal caregiver. She has given up pursuing her career and bettering her life to be at her husbands side. Needless to say, with her single income their family can not afford the transport and medical costs required for the trip between Saudi Arabia and Cyprus.
