To celebrate Archie turning one we are fundraising for the NICU staff, and giving back to those who kept him alive for his first few months.
Auckland
Archie will be one on July 19th 2015, and to celebrate this, and in lieu of presents, we are asking that you donate some money to our 'give a little fundraiser' for the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) staff at Auckland Hospital.
We will always be extremely grateful to their hard work and dedication, they looked after Archie 24/7 for 13 weeks, and in a nut shell kept him alive.
We are wanting to give something back to the nurses and doctors, not to the unit itself, but to the staff. We would like to be able to give them some money to allow them to do something nice for themselves. It would be up to the unit how this money is spent, but we are thinking either food or pampering!
Archie has been very spoilt since birth, and we are SO grateful for all of your generosity, but we are asking that instead of giving to him when he turns one, you give to those who were so important to him for the first few months of his life.
We are not expecting you to donate, but we would really appreciate it if you could give a little.
Thank you so much,
love Deane, Anne, and Archie x
As Archie's parents, we are wanting to give back to those who did so much for him at the start. The NICU staff were amazing, and rather than fundraise for the unit itself, we want to fundraise for the staff so they can do something nice for themselves.
