Last year our three cars did 38,500 kms between our then three part-time nurses but now we have five nurses and need another set of wheels.

We visit homes, schools, work-places and community venues right across the more than 14,000 square kilometres that make up Hawke’s Bay. 25,000 people in Hawke’s Bay suffer from a respiratory illness, these are people we are here to help – mostly for free.

Last year our three cars did 38,500 kms between our then three part-time nurses but now we have five nurses and need another set of wheels.

As a charity we sometimes need our community’s help. We have $4,000 saved but need another $12,500, to buy the next Breathe Hawke’s Bay mobile nursing unit (she means car.)

Being mobile and able to visit our clients where best suits them is one of the strengths of our services. Our cars are essential for us to be able to go where needed.

We are determined to make sure our staff are as well resourced as possible so have started fundraising through a number of different avenues to be able to afford our next car. This page is the easiest way for our community and other awesome supporters to donate directly to this project.

About us

We strive to improve health outcomes through a variety of FREE respiratory services delivered by our friendly team. Our specialised nurses see all age groups for individual assessments either in clinic or in the community.

- Free information / resources

- Allergy / nebuliser products for sale,

- Community education and presentations

Use of funds

All funds raised through this Give a Little page will go towards purchasing a new car for our respiratory nurses to visit clients, schools, sports clubs and whoever else wants to utilise our FREE services across Hawke's Bay.
