Help us take our disabled son to The Wiggles theme park in Dreamworld for his 10th birthday.
Nationwide
Our son Kanye is amazing. He's 9 and he adores The Wiggles. Kanye is intellectually disabled in the Autistic spectrum and he suffers from generalized epilepsy. He has all types of seizures mainly tonic clonic (grand mal) he has had numerous falls or has stopped breathing due to these, meaning a lot of ambulance trips to the hospital, time after time he surprises us by getting though it with a smile no matter how much pain he is in or how badly his seizures are affecting him. He's had numerous surgeries and has had a procedure at least once a year since he was 2.
Every time epilepsy takes hold our hearts break for him, we hope that it wont be the last time we see him as we have been told there is a high chance of sudep (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy). All we want is to take him to The Wiggles Land in Dreamworld Australia for his 10th birthday next year in March, but we can't do it on our own so we are reaching out for some help to get him there!
The money we are raising will cover return flights, travel insurance, passports, accommodation, theme park entry, transport within Australia, food and any Wiggles merchandise we wish to get for him while we are there.

SeaWorld 20 January 2015
Today i went and booked the very last thing on our list- sea world!
We were able to secure a booking at an extra cost for Kanye to swim with the dolphins!
Sea world have special sessions available for those with disabilities to be in the water with the dolphins. They said that when we arrive the trainer will assess Kanye and decide on which will be best for him ie. he's in shallow water and the dolphin comes to him or in moderate water with a life jacket on, that sort of thing. Obviously they need to keep the dolphin safe as well as Kanye
They need a carer to be in the water with Kanye, so we decided Andre will be best as he is stronger, taller and the other 2 boys will cope better with me.
We are really excited we were able to do this for him,we are able to get it recorded and get it on dvd. Already thinking about it made me emotional- clearly i'll be a teary mess actually seeing him in the water with a dolphin lets hope that they don't film that part!
Really grateful to my travel agent who has been organizing all these things for me, she has been amazing!
