The team at the Goodness Gathering has nominated DROP4DROP as the cause for our event on 10 September 2016.

DROP4DROP (http://drop4drop.org/) is creating some incredible ripples across the world. DROP4DROP creates sustainable clean water solutions in countries that need it most. It costs £1,500 to build a water well that will provide clean water to an entire community. Let’s see how many water wells we can fund together!

On 10 September 2016, the challenge will be to climb the highest peak in your town/city/country – whatever you can manage and with whoever you can summon! You can gather Goodness on your own, with 3 or with 300 friends! On the day, you’ll come together locally with others in your area who have chosen to participate in the same event, and together you’ll complete the challenge. In the same 24 hours, others all over the world, will do the same in their area.

Any donation is much appreciated to meet our goal and participate in or support our event! You can make the donation yourself on this GIVEALITTLE page or get other people to sponsor you (must be 16yrs or older). All donations go to DROP4DROP.

When you make your donation, please specify your chosen summit in the comment field.

You can join any summit listed already on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1726834080891445/) or you can start a new Gathering of Goodness.

Don’t forget to click ‘Attend’ on our 10 September event on our Facebook page. And ‘Like’ our Facebook page @thegoodnessgathering for regular updates leading up to and during the event. It will also allow you to get in touch with others planning to do the same challenge in your area!

Not one, but TWO wells! 8 September 2016

Hi everyone,

We are ecstatic! The Goodness Gathering for Drop4Drop has been growing in leaps and bounds and we are looking at *36 gatherings* in *16 countries* for Saturday, with still more to be confirmed! We have raised a total of NZD $2297 at this stage, thanks to incredible people like YOU and are by no means finished yet...

The cost of one bore-well that will serve an entire community with safe, clean drinking water is £1500 (around NZD $2750). Because we are so close to funding our first well in entirety, we've decided to increase our goal to NZD $5500 - which will cover costs for a second well! Perhaps we will exceed that amount too? We are so excited to see how far our global community can go!

Drop4Drop have let us know that our fundraising will likely be used to support a community in rural Andhra Pradesh, India.
