Pool Opened But Further Fundraising for Facilities

Thanks to all the donations and amazing support, we were able to rebuild the Heathcote School Community Pool and reopen it for the summer in December 2015. But we still have some important things to complete that we need help with, so your donation is still really valuable to us.
The incredible popularity of the pool through the summer highlighted what a fantastic community asset the pool is. And daily swimming by all Heathcote Valley School students has been amazing for their confidence and safety in the water, and extending their swimming skills.
To ensure the pool continues to be a pleasant, practical and safe environment for our community to use, we still have some important things to complete, including installation of seating, shading and gear storage. We are also hoping to continue to work with the community in the potential development of the adjoining green space into an even better community recreation facility.
