Please help us represent Tai Tokerau in Wellington!

We are a trio of Year 11's from Whangarei Girls' High School who have been selected to represent our school and region at the SGCNZ National University of Otago Sheila Winn Shakespeare festival in Wellington in June.
It has been 19 years since a 15 minute performance has won our Kura the honour of representing Te Tai Tokerau in Wellington. We will be performing on the grand St James Theatre stage alongside 47 other groups from all over Aotearoa. It's an incredible opportunity so we will appreciate any support you can give us to help cover the costs of our travel and accommodation etc. Thank you so much.

Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival 2023!! 24 July 2023
Hi everyone! I know it's a bit late but we wanted to come on here and thank everyone who donated to our givealittle and helped us to go down to the national festival in Wellington. We had the most amazing time, participating in workshops, panel discussions, watching performances and performing ourselves! Amazingly, our team was awarded the Tony Woolf Outstanding Stage Combat award, and Ashleen was one of 49 students throughout the competition selected for NSSP (National Shakespeare Schools Production) which she will be attending in September. This is a massive accomplishment, and none of this would have been possible without all your support, so we thank you again. See you next year!
