What a wonderful gift you have all collectively given Oscar Saxon.
Today, 18th April, is Oscar's 5th Birthday, Happy Birthday my boy!!
Thank you so much to each and everyone of you for your contributions towards a special gift for my kind canine companion :)

One of Oscar's feline companions went missing on Friday morning, and appeared back again late last night, as if nothing was amiss!!!
I am still overwhlemed at the rapid and generous response I have had from people from all over the globe - including Australia, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, USA, and New Zealand. You guys absolutely ROCK!!!!
Just a couple of weeks away Oscar will have his operation to remove his Cancer Tumor :)
I have increased the goal of this campaign to cover post-op expenses for vet visits and antibiotic charges, which I hadnt taken into account when first starting this campaign.

Thanking each and everyone of you for all your kind donations, Im totally blown away at everyones generosity, and didnt expect to even hit target at the end of the month!!!! So greatful!!!!
Any donations over target will go towards Oscar's post operative care he will need with vet consultations and possibly antibiotic costs.
Oscar is due to go to the operation on Thursday, so I will keep you updated as to his progress :)

We are nearly at target, and if any money goes over the target, you can be rest assured that it will go towards follow up vets visits and antibiotics if Oscar needs them after his operation

Feeling so humbly grateful for everyones kind thoughts and donations towards Oscar's operation!!!!
We are nearly there, and Oscar is booked in for next Thursday to get his low grade cancer tumour removed :)
Here is the first picture that made me fall in love with this wee guy!
Just a little background, the people who breed Oscar always 'gift' one puppy from every litter.
I was one of 13 people who were keen future owners for Oscar, and out of those 13, I was the lucky one who won over the hearts of the owners, and was able to bring this ball of fluff home with me to his forever home!!!
He is a very loving and caring wee soul, and the only animal he doesnt like, are flies! He gets very angry with them when they land on his juicy bones ;)
Oscar also enjoys watching tv advertisements with any animals, and has also been known to watch 'cartoon movies' with enthusiasm!! Beverly Hills Chihuahua is one of his favourites!!!

Have just come back from the vet with the results of Oscar's biopsy.
Morphological Diagnosis:
Mast cell tumour - low grade.
Comment:
This tumour is low grade as the mitotic rate is zero. The prognosis is good.
If a mast cell tumour has no mitoses, the likelihood of it reoccurrig is about 2% and of mestastasising 1%.
They grade the tumour on a rate of 1-5 5 being bad, and Oscar's rating is 1 :)
So he is off to the vets next week for his operation.
