We are hoping to help Charlie ride a bike again - using technology to assist him to feel the wind in his hair and have fun with the family

Bay of Plenty

The research we have done has taken us around the planet to find a bike that looks like a bike works like a bike but doesn't need the muscle power, because Charlie's muscles are struggling to keep up with his desire to be on "wheels". We love going riding and I used to tow Charlie behind me - but he is too big and the tag along flops over under the weight of our big boy. Apart from that - he wants to race Sam and Gab... and Mum and Dad. With this new bike he will be able to fly!

Rod Way's involvement (page creator)

Jodi and I (Mum & Dad) have a dream to give Charlie lots of experiences he won't be able to have when he is in a wheel chair. Lots of it we are living - camping, beaching, fishing, skiing giving us some great treasures to remember. Riding a bike is such a simple thing, but not when you don't have the strength to peddle properly. The dream is to do some great bike rides together and Charlie would love to enjoy the wind in his ears.
