Sue desperately needs help to achieve a dream before time runs out for her.
Taranaki
Susan is a single mother of three young daughters aged 6, 8 and 10 years old. Sue has terminal cancer as a result of breast cancer two years ago. She had chemo after the breast cancer however a number of secondary tumours have been diagnosed in her liver. She has been given approximately three months to live and is currently undergoing more chemo to give her this time. Recently she bought a property through a mortgagee sale however she has had to go through Court to get the previous owner removed. Before this was done the previous owner completely gutted the house, destroying the plumbing, wiring, ripping out wallboards and making the house uninhabitable. Sue continues to pay the mortgage on the property she bought as well as paying rent since her house is uninhabitable, due to this persons destructive behaviour. Sue would love some help to be able to fix up the house to make it liveable for her girls to live in when she is no longer here and to have something for their future. Tradespeople who can do the work quickly would also be much appreciated, particularly plumbers, joiners, tilers. As time is running out, Susan does not know where to start to get the house liveable very quickly. Please help in whatever way you can and anything will be gratefully received.
I don't live in the area but as Susan is my niece and a wonderful person I really want to help her in some way knowing that she is struggling not only with her diagnosis but in setting up something for her young girls quickly.
Help Sue 27 August 2019
To all the generous donors for Sue Morris, as Sue has sadly passed away the funds raised will be paid out to Terry and Rachel Morris as they have been awarded custody of Sue's three girls by the Court. They now have life guardianship of Sarah, Lilly and Emma along with their own three children and the girls are thriving well in their new home.
