Without any surgery and through only hardwork Jermaine has lost over 50kg and now needs skin removal surgery.
Wellington
4 years ago Jermaine started his journey at 146kg. Today, without any surgery, he has lost a massive 50kg. He's achieved this through a healthy diet, an aunty that helped him start moving, and a few found love for Crossfit. You hear so much about people not taking responsibility for their health, but Jermaine has done all this through nothing but hard work!!
As a result of dramatic weight loss he's left with a lot of loose skin. He trains hard everyday but to get him across the finish line he needs surgery. You can check out how hard he trains, along with before and after pics, on his Instagram account - https://www.instagram.com/m4in1/
Jermaine has put the steps in place for his surgery. He's researched the best solutions and listened to recommendations. He's sold up most of his beloved sneaker collection and saved hard. Two surgeries (tummy tuck and chest tightening) are booked for March 2017 in Thailand.
He has most of the money but needs our help to get him past the finish line. Let's do it!
Words from Jermaine:
It's so hard to have done all the hard work but then I'm REMINDED OF THE OLD ME every time I take off my shirt. It’s something I have always wanted to be able to do proudly. I know this sounds stupid but it’s my goal. Some might say this is selfish and that's ok, I KNOW THERE ARE MORE WORTHY things you all could donate money towards, and I totally agree with that. But rest assured you will be helping me fulfil my dream and finish what I started.
If I go above my target the remaining will be donated to a worthy organisation to help other people who might be in the same place I was. If you could share or invite people to help me that would be awesome. Thanks to those who have my back - I’M OUT HERE TRYING TO INSPIRE OTHERS AS WELL, and show everyone the reality of weight loss before and after.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!
Much love,
from ME.
I'm his sister and think he's worked incredibly hard!
