A big thank you to all those who have supported me.

I will be getting a date very soon from America and I am only half way to where I need to be and I do not want to say no to yet another date.

I have this event coming up I really need numbers so would be great to see you all there like i mentioned above if you want to help you can.

All processes will help me get to America where I will have a particular surgery called Selective Dorsal rhizotomy which involves cutting some of the sensory nerve fibers that come from the muscles and enter the spinal cord.

I need this because I have Cerebral Palsy ( CP ) from medical misadventure unforcantly ACC will not cover this operation as it is overseas.

This is the only operation that will helps Cerebral Palsy patients.

I have been working closely with my local MP to make changes for future New Zealanders who are accepted.

  • Every where I look there seems to be a hurdle

      15 April 2018
    Main image

While I continue to battle to fundraise, I am finding it harder and harder to see other people get funds very quickly and I am taking a small step forward every day. Just the other day I thought this fundraising Journey was going to be finally over and I would be on a jet plane to America. What some of you do not know is I have applied for funding through an organization and was meant to get an answer last week. However, there is another delay with the process and it unknown for when I will know if some of the funds will be paid for. It was not the news I wanted or was expecting however it made me realize that in life we get hurdles planted in the middle of a journey but we have to make the chose whether we stay where that hurdle is and go nowhere or jump it and continue with your trip. I have decided to keep this Journey of fundraising, and I would not have 50K sitting in my bank account now if it was not for you kind souls donating and helping me get to America. Another 50K to go which I am determined to get and nothing will stop me from understanding that there is always a way.

  • Seen the Surgeon

      23 February 2018

I've met the surgeon from America today. Who will be cutting into my spine later this year to get me to walk unassisted by cutting my spastic nerves? If I DO NOT have this surgery, I will be in a wheelchair in 5 years time, and I will not allow that happen. However I can't get to America without 100K, so any donations so thank you for all the ones who have donated but if you can share the story around and encourage others to donate then that will be amazing
