Help kit out the new Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Crew.

Nelson

We have three new crewpersons coming onboard the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter over the coming months. Kitting them out in fire retardant uniforms, helmets, life vests, harnesses etc doesn't come cheap. We are asking or community to help support us with the cost involved.

Flight jackets and pants, thermals, tshirts, life vests, flight helmets, flight gloves, boots and jackets all must be purchased.

Thankfully, we already have one helmet and life vest that can be utilised.

About us

We provide a professional air rescue service throughout the top of the South Island utilising a twin engine BK117 helicopter - responding to over 500 callouts per annum, people needing urgent medical care and transportation.

Use of funds

Purchasing vital equipment for new crewpersons to enable them to perform their role.
