Memorial Celebration of the Life and Times of Georgina Beyer

We are pleased to announce that the details of Georgina’s Memorial Service have now been confirmed.

On the 6th March 2023 it was announced with a heavy heart, that Georgina Beyer MNZM,Politician Activist,Iconic Trailblazer and beloved friend and colleague had passed away.

Georgie’s decline was extremely rapid and sadly there were many many friends and colleagues that were unable to say goodbye.

It was Georgie’s wish to have a private funeral service at Pipitea Marae, however the Executors of Georgie’s Estate and her close friends wish to host a fabulous memorial event based on the theme “The Life and Times of Georgina Beyer. This event will be open to the public and afford an opportunity for everyone to share amongst each other our hilarious stories,memories and Georgina’s outstanding achievements.

So much of her time was given to so many communities and organisations and many have reached out to asking how they can help.

We now need your help, this event is dependent completely on fund-raising. Please dig deep and share this with friends/family colleagues so that we can make this event as fabulous as Georgie was.
