We need your help to raise funds that will go towards a new Fire Station in Mangawhai.

Northland

Since 2013 the Mangawhai Volunteer Fire Brigade have been operating out of a small prefab building situated at the rear of their existing Fire Station which unfortunately can not be fully utilised due to structural and environmental issues making it unsafe. The situation is not ideal as there is limited space for training and other Brigade activities. In addition to this, community development around and near the Station is making operation and incident callouts challenging due to the high pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The plan is for the new Station to be located near the new St John Station in a much safer area.

The "Friends of the Brigade" has been set up to support and help the Mangawhai Volunteer Fire Brigade fundraise towards a new Fire Station so as to allow the Brigade Volunteers to focus on their role as Fire Fighters as opposed to fundraising.
