Samia Sisters NZ Volleyball Honours 2015
Help my girls raise funds for their NZ age group Volleyball selections this year. Laina and Rosalia have both been selected in 2015.
Hawke's Bay
Laina will travel to Thailand in July to compete for NZ Junior Women at the U18 Asian Champs. Rosalia will travel to Canberra in September with the NZ Youth development teams to compete in the Australian State Volleyball Champs. After many years with Alani coaching players to achieve National honours his daughters have now achieved the same success. We are raising the money required by us as parents to pay Volleyball NZ which covers all individual costs associated with being a member of the team: airfares, uniforms, food, entry fees, travel etc.

I'm a very proud mum. My girls and their Dad (coach Alani) have worked hard to get here...but you know how it goes - Proud Poor Parents. Volleyball is not very well funded in NZ and parents/players have to pay their own way when selected to represent. I'm committed to my kids and their sport but their success basically means we have to remortgage the house so we're going back to our community for help! Laina needs $4000 for her trip & Rosie needs $2700 - airfares, team gear, training, food, internal transport etc. We are required as parents to pay these amounts to Volleyball New Zealand.
