Help send our team to the Jakarta world champs, competing in all a categories from Juniors to Masters, held every 3 years.

Held normally every 3 years, one of the largest Karate competitions in the world, this August in Jakarta. We are sending a team of 10 competitors from Juniors through to Masters to represent NZ. Please help our team to raise funds for this trip. Practice of Karate-do teaches manners, ethics, resilience, dignity, perseverance, humility and courage through learning to control one self and harmonise mind body and spirit.

I'm the Team Manager, an Instructor, Masters Women's competitor and Referee. All our instructors are Volunteers and do not draw a salary, we do this to help mentor the kids and for the love of the art. Aside from fundraising contributions, we pay our own way, including the kids and their parents. Every dollar raised helps to pay for entry fees, uniforms, and other travel expenses for the team.
