    Hello Everyone

We just wanted to let you all know that after a hard fought battle with his cancer, Ian passed away last night (Feb 14). He was surrounded by Lorna, his family and beloved dog Jonah. Thank you again to all of you who so kindly donated on his page. Thanks to you Ian was comfortable right up until the end, and we treasure the messages from you all that documented his professional life so beautifully.

A service will be held on Monday 19th 2pm at Silverstream Retreat, 3 Reynolds Bach Drive, Stokes Valley, followed by private cremation.

Thank you again for all your support.

My thoughts and best wishes go out to the family of this fantastic man. Tonight there is one less star in the night sky and the world is a darker place for it. Ian reignited my belief that there is some good in this world and he'll be sorely missed.

Hi Everyone, thank you all for still keeping Ian and Lorna top of mind, it means so much to them. I just wanted to let you all know that we finished our Givealittle Book ( although it has plenty of pages left for updates) and gave it to Ian. Her was very humbled and enjoyed reading all your kind thoughts and messages, especially the ones from your naughty pets. He has spent the majority of the last month in hospital but is back home now. Thanks again, your support means so much.

That's wonderful! I am so glad that people have come together and donated to show their appreciation of the work Ian has done. It proves that good deeds comes back to those that give especially in a time of need. Ian has a huge heart and we need more like him. Thank you Ian for being such a special person. xoxo

To The Best Veterinarian In The World.

      Dear Ian.

You have been my fur babies Veterinarian for the last couple of years. When I moved to Wellington, I came across your practice and was drawn by the positive energy and genuine kindness that both yourself and your step daughter Vicky had shown me and my fur babies.

Chowmein my cat was in pretty bad shape a few months ago. He is doing well thanks to your amazing skill, I'm sure no other Veterinarian would've taken on the task of fixing him and for that, I am forever grateful.

It was heartbreaking to hear of your failing health, the debt left by unpaid vet bills and health care costs. Yet, it was uplifting to find that Vicky had started a Give A Little page and to see the amazing support given.

Thank you for being kind and compassionate.

"Time is too slow for those who wait,

Too swift for those who fear,

Too long for those who grieve,

Too short for those who rejoice,

But for those who love, time is

      Eternity." - Henry Van Dyke

With loving thoughts to you and your family.
