      25 March 2015

Thank you so much to Vanessa and Danger at Okurukuru winery, New Plymouth for putting on such a fantastic dinner and wonderful evening! They've raised 2800 dollars for us! Thank you for everything! Thank you to their kitchen staff and Mercedes. Thank you to Sasha, Becky and Leigh for their amazing waitressing!!! I'm just blown away by everyone's support for Keara! We live in a beautiful community.

Thank you to everyone who dined and enjoyed themselves. Please spread the word about the team's wonderful cooking!

Here are some words from Suzanne:

Please reiterate to everyone how blessed we feel for all the support we've received. This has been a truly humbling experience and we are forever grateful for all the ongoing love that we have received from our community. It has helped to give us the strength to carry on. And although we are missing our home so much, Keara is getting the best rehabilitation in the entire country, so we are certainly where we need to be.

We love and miss our Naki whanau. xo

  • Keara's progress so far

      18 March 2015

Keara has moved to the Wilson Centre, a specialist rehabilitation facility for children with brain injuries.

Keara has regained most of her speech and a small amount of mobility in her left limbs. She will be undergoing aggressive daily rehabilitation for several months.

Keara's family are so grateful for the continuing support they are receiving. They very much look forward to their eventual return to Taranaki.

I saw Keara and her family a little while ago at starship and she gave me the most beautiful smile.

Thanks again for all your generous donations and continued support.

    Love, ida

The support from everyone around the world, New Zealand and our little community has been amazing. Thank you so much to all of you who have donated and sent loving thought. The Frasers are really feeling the love and support.

Thank you so much to everone who participated in the working bee to spruce up Keara's garden. What a team!

Thank you so much to the lady who's looking after Keara's cats.

All of you are simply amazing!

I was lucky enough to give Craig a hug this week and he showed me a beautiful picture of Keara smiling. Let's keep sending them love and healing.

    Love, Ida

  • The support is amazing

      25 February 2015

Thank you for all the generous donations. I'm blown away by the response and I'm so grateful. Each and everyone of you are making a huge difference to Keara and her family.

I'm not sure how much information Keara's parents want to share at the moment. They are very busy looking after their little girl. It must be very tough for them to be away from home too. I will fill you in on Keara's progress when everything is not so raw for her family.

They are such a beautiful and amazing family. Thank you for helping making Keara's recovery easier.

    Love, Ida

      Hi Ida,

I'm a writer for Lucky Break magazine here in NZ and I recently read about Keara on the Stuff news website. I'd love to help raise awareness! If Craig or Melanie would like to get in touch, please feel free to pass on my details.

      Best wishes,

      Ashley
