Help me represent my country for Volleyball!

One of my goals I set last year was representing my country and this year I have accomplished this. I have been selected and will be a representative in the NZ U 19 Junior Men's Development Volleyball Team who will be travelling to Australia-Canberra to compete in the Australian Junior Volleyball Championship in late September 2015.

I was first introduced to volleyball at a really young age. A lot of my family have played and coached this sport. I remember watching teams playing when I was still at Primary School, thinking this game looks really fun, I'm going to play when I get older! When I played my first game I thought it was awesome and although I enjoy playing all sports, Volleyball has become my number one passion.

During my secondary years I have achieved the following:

* 2015,

- NZ Junior Men's Development Volleyball Team,

- Trident High School Senior A Volleyball Team.

- Runners-up NZ Secondary Schools Division 3,

*2014,

- North Island Youth Men's Volleyball Team,

- Eastern Bay Of Plenty U 17 Volleyball Team

- Trident High School Senior A Volleyball Team

- 6th NZ Secondary Schools Division 1

* 2013,

-Eastern Bay Of Plenty U 17 Volleyball Team

- Trident High School Junior A Volleyball Team

- 9th North Island Secondary Schools Division 1

2012,

- Trident High School Junior B Volleyball Team

As part of this journey I need to raise $2700 to get myself over to Australia. This amount includes; flights, accommodation, food costs, travel as well as purchasing the playing and travel uniform.

In order to raise this amount of money, I have been doing work for friends and family. To date I have done a lot of firewood chopping and stacking, babysitting and I have also been working at a catering event. Any contribution you are able to make will be much appreciated. I am so excited to be representing NZ, thank you for helping me realise my dreams.
