Having lived in India for a little while, being patient is something we’re forced to learn on a daily basis. There are always delays and despite the best of intentions and hard work that is the reality of living in this amazing country and culture.
July 31 was the day we had hoped to seal the Gateway deal, the day we were looking forward to and ready to celebrate this new freedom space. Unfortunately we didn’t quite manage that but having met with the entire family of vendors again we are confident it will happen soon. Together, we agreed to complete the deal on August 10. The vendor families have also begun to talk about and plan a celebration meal together with us on that day.
Please continue to pray not just for the completion of purchase but more importantly, that the Gateway will become a place where many find freedom leading to the transformation of our community.
Having borrowed some funds to complete purchase we also continue to welcome your help financially. Thank you so much to all of you around the world who journey with us and have contributed generously.

A big thanks to those of you who have donated to The Gateway Project ... it's been so humbling to see responses coming in from around the country. It's all for FREEDOM! Keep pushing the campaign around - our settlement date has been pushed out to towards the end of July (at the vendors suggestion), and while we really want to purchase The Gateway building without debt, we have a backstop facility in place so that we know we can make it happen. So ... it's gonna happen! We'd love to have no debt on the building so we appreciate all your continued support. Thanks again.

Thanks again for your support of The Gateway Project; we're making solid progress around the world, but plenty more support is needed. We'd be grateful if you could share this project with your family and friends and hopefully we can widen the net. The recent earthquakes in Nepal will result in more human trafficking and more girls will end up in our area as a result of increased poverty and desperation, so we're gearing up to be able to offer them FREEDOM. The Gateway Project will impact their lives. Thanks again.

So we were just playing around with a givealittle page, and whoa, people have started giving. Awesome, thanks! Just so you know, we're trying to raise 50% of the purchase price here in NZ (total purchase price is $3m so we'll raise $1.5m - the rest is being raised internationally hopefully). We've already raised 30% of that amount so we're well on the way! It's the old saying ... 'many hands make light work', or perhaps 'many gifts bring Freedom!' Thanks again!
