Tyler's fight with a Brain Tumor
Helping Tyler and our family fight something no child or family should have to go through with a 3 year old little boy.

In April 2021 Tyler had an MRI at Palmerston North Hospital which is where they discovered his Brain Tumors . His main one is on his optic glioma which is on the chaism at the back of his eyes which affects his eyesight.
In August 2021 Tyler traveled up to Starship hospital with his dad where we were told that he would need Chemotherapy to try and shrink the tumor to save our sons eyesight. They can not operate on Tyler's brain tumor because it all intertwines with his muscles and nerves and it could cause him to go blind.
Since then Tyler and our family Me Mum Larissa, Dad Scott, little sister Holly and little sister Emily have been on a long road of a journey.
Taking Tyler who is only 3 to weekly Chemotherapy sessions at Wanganui Hospital. He is 7 months in to Chemotherapy with many more months to go and there has been no change to Tyler's brain tumor it hasn't shrunk nor grown. His eyesight has unfortunately deteriorated more which is not what we were hoping for.
Tyler goes to Starship Hospital every three months with routine MRIs and Eyetests to see if there is any change with his brain Tumors.
Tyler and our family have a long journey ahead of them with his weekly Chemotherapy sessions and 3 monthly visits to Starship Hospital. We thank anyone who is able to do anything to help.

Tyler had his MRI last week and there had been no change with the tumor being stable. We are still searching for the right car
