Our team of four Heart Kids supporters is taking on the Sovereign Triathlon in Auckland on Valentine's Day - which is also CHD Day!

Valentine's Day is also International Congenital Heart Defect Day. One in every 100 babies born will have a heart defect and in NZ that means 12 babies each and every week.

We are lucky enough to work with this great organisation, and see firsthand every day how much Heart Kids supports kids and families facing huge challenges.

This has motivated us to take on our own challenge and complete this triathlon, to show our support for the 8,000 kiwi families and children affected each year by childhood heart conditions. Your donation will make a real difference for kids across NZ, so please support us as we take this on!

We are involved because we wanted to challenge ourselves in recognition of the fact that heart kids and their families face challenges every single day that they did not choose. We see the difference Heart Kids NZ makes for those who need support, and hope others will help us reach our goal to raise funds through this event.
