Sponsor Zara to chop off her long hair to raise money for Kids With Arthritis
Christchurch, Canterbury
Did you know that children can get arthritis too? They can, and I am one of them! I was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis when I was 1 and a half years old.
I have received lots of help along the way from Kids With Arthritis New Zealand (https://www.kidswitharthritis.org.nz/) - they are a charity that supports other kids and families like me.
July is Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Month, so I am celebrating by donating my ponytail! I need to grow my hair another 2 cm and then it will be ready to be all chopped off and sent to Freedom Hair to be made into a wig.
I will be donating the money I get for my ponytail to Kids With Arthritis New Zealand, and it would be great if you could support them too!
Please sponsor me to get the big chop, and together we will support this excellent charity!
I will share a picture afterwards to show you what it looks like when it's all cut off - thanks!
