Boosting little minds and tummies with hot, healthy lunches during winter.
Bay of Plenty
Feed the Need are a charitable trust on a mission to feed hope to Kiwi kids, one school lunch at a time.
They hone in on those schools with the greatest needs, feeding every child, hoping to give them a better shot at learning and growing.
They do this because they believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive and become amazing
$10 will provide 5 lunches. $60 will feed a child for the entire winter period.
Do something small like give up one cup of coffee a day, for a week, and donate that money to this fantastic cause instead.
I will be completing the Mount Everest Challenge rain, shine, hail or storm.
This challenge involves climbing Mauao (mount maunganui) 38 times in 50 days, which is the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest.
I want to help alter reality for kiwi kids who don't have the power to alter it themselves.
FINAL WEEK 28 July 2016
The Struggle is real! Final week of climbing and finding it more challenging now then when I first started. Possibly because I slacked off a little and only did 2 every now and then and am now making up for it by trying to do 3-4 a day! haha
Have been making a few trips up at night and loving the view. Had many friends jump on the band wagon and join me or go up themselves in support of this great cause! Super blessed to have such great support and kindness in this journey.
Photos and all will be loaded of all the ventures Ive had up Mauao (when I remembered to take them lol) and this definitely won't be my last time up I'm sure haha xx
