Shaving my head - from long dark locks to nothing to support NZ Paralympian’s and Breast Cancer NZ

Canterbury

As I am having an "0" birthday this year I have had several thoughts about how to embrace this - those who know me know that I love my long dark hair but the time has come to stop dyeing it. So I thought shave my head and see what happens!! But if I'm going to shave my head I'd like charities to benefit so have chosen 2 - Paralympics NZ and Breast Cancer NZ as both causes are very close to my heart for contrasting reasons!

Paralympics NZ have the vision of "through Para sport, lives will be transformed" and being married to NZ Paralympian #122 (Wayne Fleming) I can attest to the empowerment through sport, so supporting the upcoming para athletes is something that is incredibly important.

Breast Cancer is sadly something that has affected far too many people in my life from family, friends, relatives of friends so anything I can do to support this charity I'm very keen to do.

Please support me with my head shave and help others as a result
