I can't imagine what life would look like had I not gone to Wellington Rape Crisis Center in 2018, they helped me navigate one of the darkest period in my life to where I am able to live peacefully now, while I do the on going work of unpacking it all. I wouldn't be half the parent I am today for my baby Vai without them.
They helped me find my simple joys again, one of them being gentle movement and running. So help me say a huge "THANK YOU" to an amazing group of people who have nothing but unconditional love for their communities.
I hope to cross that finish line at the annual "Round the Bays" on February 19 2023, for 2018 me. Who truly never thought we'd find our way back to our body and feel safe again. I am able to say "I am a survivor" today because of the WRCC, without them I wouldn't be here today.

Thank you to each and everyone of you. I can't believe we actually did it and I couldn't have gotten across that finish line without all your support along the way. A huge thank you to the local businesses that homed a few of the physical donation buckets in person and to my dad, for literally running the entire way with me. Definitely a memory I'll forever hold super close to my heart 🥹💖
