Multi-coloured mullet for mental health

Kia ora,

This year I will join the Blonde Mullet Brigade to help raise funds for the I Am Hope Foundation who do fantastic work across Aotearoa to provide free counselling for youth and education in schools around Mental Health. On 1 August I will be dyeing my attempt at a mullet blonde and keeping this until the 3rd of September. I'm going to add a twist with the top two donators to my page getting the chance to pick a colour each that I will dye my hair for this period.

Those close to me will know that mental health is a very important matter for me as I struggled with this a lot when I was younger. Accessing help from therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists was a key part of my journey and allowed me to get to where I am today. However, many of our rangatahi are struggling to access these services and are stuck on long waiting lists in a broken system that is only making our mental health crisis worse. By fundraising money, we will be giving a lifeline to many youth that provides much-needed support and potentially saves lives.
