January 2014 Stage 1 was the North to South leg of the #rickshawrun pan-India 3000 km in 14 days. Raising $2460.00 for New Zealand charity #lma and over 900 GBP pounds for the event beneficaries #coolearth.

Imagine 70-80 teams of up to 4 people, from all walks of life from all over the world - saving the planet. You get one party together; then you are lucky to see each other at all on the challenge. Spend arse shaking 12 hour days for about two weeks somewhere in India. At top speeds of 45 km/hour on roads best described as ghastly. There is something that makes you feel more alive than dodging pink buses of fear and circus trucks along with 1.2 billion other people. This time the challenge is for NZ Team Goodbye Curry Pie to travel from Jaisalmer to Shillong in 11 days.- the wettest place on the planet. Why? Because epic journeys inspire epic things.
