We have made the somewhat daunting pledge to enter the Run Auckland Series and while we are at it we thought why not make a buck or two for a very good cause - KidsCan.

Race 1 - 29th March - Waiatarua Reserve - 10K

Race 2 - 19th April - Harbourview Peoples Park - 10K

Race 3 - 10th May - Barry Curtis Park - 10K

Race 4 - 7th June - North Shore- 10K

Race 5 - 28th June - Western Springs Stadium - 10K

Race 6 - 19th July - Orewa - HALF MARATHON

•49,072 raincoats were distributed to children in need

•25,376 pairs of shoes and 50,752 pairs of socks were given to keep little feet warm

•91,586 basic hygiene items

•1,010 prescriptions funded for medicine for sick children

•70 children treated for major head lice infestations
